I was mostly right in my prediction.
Thats kind of a good thing tho, that means EG are doing well, and will get even better! If im EG's next opponent, I would be scared...
Not sure about you guys, but I feel EG is saving something for later, I think they got something special if needed in semis/finals against opponents like Secret.

EG still not firing all cylinders which for me is great. They have won 3 series 2-1 now, in 5 of the 6 games they were the superior team by a long way. In the 1st game vs Vega which they won they started poorly made a few mistakes maybe even draft mistakes, yet they still won very convincingly. That was nice but game 2 they threw away a lead which is very poor for them.

But my main point, they still have room for improvement but have dispatched teams in front of them anyway. LGD or CDEC next and i would predict another similar series, EG win games comfortably but then lose badly or even make mistakes which snowball out of control. But still take the series anyway.

On course for first major title anyway imo. Next up Wednesday 16:30 GMT (+00:00)

EG look very strong this tournament, but not perfect. I'm guessing we will see Secret vs EG in the final again

Always amazes me that PPD can be this giant saltshaker when it comes to certain things, but will go into these huge tournaments thinking his team is third at best, even after all this time

No idea if it's being humble, realistic or cynical, but you have to respect someone that can be one of the most winning-est players ever and still have the mentality that his team can be better and do better.
