I hope they show up at Frankfurt with motivation to win and good drafts, if any of them are not on point, its gonna be an early exit. Edit: PS: What u guys think about the state of the team, are they gonna show up strong at Frankfurt? And will we see a Sumail meepo? ![]()

Will not playing any tournament till Majors take a toll in EG? My guess is yes, I hope I am proven wrong.

Or perhaps he wants to prove he's a better support than kuro, thus ending the debate on who was right

They haven't even played 20 officials since TI5 ended I think they were happy with the amount of games they got at MLG + the bootcamp they just had should put them at a decent state. But I think they are gonna struggle at the group stage and come stronger when the Major advances to the playoffs (Classic EG, right? ![]() But im excited to see them again, and a tiny bit scared also.

They haven't even played 20 officials since TI5 ended They should be ok if they scrimmed alot but like they said official makes people tryhard so it's kinda the best way to practice even if it reveals too much to other teams. It'd be a bummer if EG still hasn't managed to adjust after all this time since they are expected to put up a show (hell they won alot of tournaments not practicing lol)

Ppd said a number of times that the teams he was most worried about coming in in a tournament where the ones which didn't participate in a lot of tournaments prior. So I guess he's fine with how things turned out. And it's not like they could have played a lot more, apart from Nanyang I don't think they could have played more. They didn't have to qualify to anything since they've been directly invited to everything.

If I were a fan of another team, I feel like this tourney would be no different from any other in the past month or so, hell even week to week. Teams like OG seem to play 2 series a day, I get bored of watching the same teams all the time.

I actually prefer that they don't play that often, now I'm actually excited to watch the major given how little EG plays. I assume it's a really good thing for their brand, since tournaments will be incentivized to invite them given their fanbase and how few other tournaments they attend. I have to agree with this, big tournaments without EG will always feel "smaller" because they didnt have the TI champhions there, the big team everyone wants to beat. The few tournaments they join automatically getts a lil bit bigger hype to it.

I wonder if we will ever see a DOTA grandslam with a team winning all the Majors. That would be the most impressive event in Esports history.
