Beautiful from EG though and 2/2 majors so far. Guess that guy who says EG need to play more won't be posting in a while :D COL were looking so strong in NA, clearly the best, but EG just 4-1 in 2 days on their first official outings on the new patch compared to COL who already won a qualifier in it XD | ||

Take game 2 as example in last nights final. Sumail is playing mid merry go round with bat rider trying to avoid his lane and facing razor. They all spent like 500g in the first 10 minutes on TPs lane hoping! Was nuts, but all the mean time cr1t and fear sit with rtc farming on luna. He was so far ahead in that game it was nuts. | ||

Were talking about EG having to play their best to beat..... Col. Get it together people. EG is SUPPOSED to be smashing these other teams in NA. I am an EG fan but no longer will I run around like you sheep when they win something they were supposed to win and act like they are the godsend. They played some new-ish stuff and it looked cool and it was fun to watch them win no doubt, but they did not look at all like they could win against Newbee, or even OG for that matter. Something is also going on with Sumail in his play, it is lacking imo. But if you all want to act like b/c they qual'd that everything is all honkey dorey, then dance away. But the problems still exist. | ||

Col actually was playing very very well, crisp movements, strat executions, closing out games easily. Wouldn't count them as a bad team, even though they were bad last year. | ||

It's fun :D Okay JGwinworth, let me explain it to you son: EG looked bad. Very bad, for months. Addition of Fear did not help. They still looked chaotic lacking individual skill and drafts and team fights. In short, Dota top tier is very close nit, anyone can beat anyone else (Besides Newbee bating non-trolling Liquid never happening but that's another story) But they didn't even belong into that group. Enter games from today - with recent form they were not expected to win, far from it . . .nobody would be shocked if they finished 3rd here. Instead they not only manage to win, but also show what they were lacking for months - individual plays, but more importantly drafts and lategame teamfight execution. That's why everyone is excited kiddo, EG is back to form, back to it not being surprising if they take series from the best teams on a good day instead of just coming for another loss, because of the plays they have shown. Now it might be past your bedtime so go skiddadle, but hopefully you can dream of your team, EG returning to being a contender once again. And me as a Liquid fan seeing them matched with my team will no longer meet a yawn and expectation of a somewhat entertaining autowin I don't have to bother watching | ||

But the problems still exist. COL walking NA region, that is the only region EG need to care about for qualifying for majors unless they turn up to a major and get dumpstered on. In which even in Frankfurt they didn't look too bad, but ofc didn't get points. | ||
