So our schedule is;

Mess around in Midas mode for a week or so.

DreamLeague Major December 1-3
Summit 8 Minor December 13-17
Captains Draft Minor 4-7 January
Galaxy Battles 2 Major 15-21 January

Plus MDL Macau invites to be announced for that LAN on 8th December which looks like they are not going now but who knows.
Then GESC Minor in Singapore the weekend before the Galaxy Battle major.
To round off january another Major in ESL One Genting which is 16 team event so EG might get an invite there as the invites for a 16 team major seem to take the top team from each region in there eyes, aka EG got invited to Galaxy Battles as the NA invite there etc.

Yesterday's Midas Mode was fun, even though they lost 2-1 to ppd. It would seem that support alch is still not a thing lol. Can't wait to watch more of that madness

Yeah cr1t is back in EU as well so he is playing on US East with like 100 ping minimum which doesn't help for your 4.

Still im sure in Summit they will put Optic in there place in a proper situation

How much do you think the lack of EG's results in the past year (cf. non top 3 performances) have been because of non stable heroes in the midlane, e.g., no DK, Razor(Rare), Viper on Sumail?

It hard to look at past year as there has been two patches. Think they improved in new patches where RTZ plays more hard carries like Gyro and Tiny, and then Sumail can play either stable hero like Medusa or more flashy hero that i think is more his nature.
Think Sumails problem is he still thinks he is the best player in the world where other improved to be better or as good as he is. Then he can focus on what it takes to become best again.

EG didn't try at all in that midas mode series. RTZ literally went no boots and just gave up game 2 lol.
Game 1 they just made silly decisions but VGJS seemed to want to win at all costs.

This tournament made me dislike EG. There is a time to clown around and this wasn't one of them. There's a difference between playing loose and and making a mockery of the tournament.

Really, dislike EG for not taking tournament serious that have no point, crazy rules, and all prize money are giving to charity. Really dislike them for not taking that serious.

Yes, EG has no integrity. Seeing the "good" teams play like EG did would make me turn away as a potential investor.

Read again, playing loose vs playing like ingrates.

It's clear than this iteration of EG has attitude and maturity problems, and that will stop them from playing their potential.

Edit: When you play under your team tag, a certain level of professionalism is expected that EG wasn't showing, and that is disappointing.

I can understand your frustrations, but they still participated and still got out of group by playing the way they did. It was a weird ass tournament, i mean when they added that punishment for randoming in i was like wtf why. Such a stupid tournament for me and they got as far as they wanted to go.

I am happy they are not now so can focus on DH Winter preparation.

@Gaial Are you seriously complaining about professionalism of a team in a tournament where the organizers kept yelling "REGINALD" at each other among other stupid shit, and where the bounties encouraged teams to flame each other for more gold? It's clear to me that you have attitude and maturity problems.

Yes, I'm not sure what they really got out of the tournament. I'm curious to see how they'll do at DH. They need 4th place minimum.

Secret was hot; it'll be interesting to see if they go back to form with MidOne returning. If EG beats Secret they'll likely be up against Newbee, a team that has given EG problems in recent matches.

Edit: What finish do you think EG is expecting? I think they can get 4th, and if they're lucky, 3rd. (They'd have to beat Newbee, VP, or Liquid to hit 3rd).
