Im glad, i watched pretty much all EG qualifies via Grant stream because it was easiest to find the vods for a start! And he is a good funny caster in fairness. Im glad he gets a break, been working hard for the community a long time.

I'm not sure, i also read he doesn't want to drop his wallmart job because he likes the job. Not sure though, i hope he can afford to become full time streamer streaming all the NA scene. Get himself to events and stuff.

Good move by EG though, like with Bulldong and SingSing before, they do alot of advertising for minimal effort for their teams by just playing games all day long.

Listen, Grant is not going to leave Walmart. I worked at a similar place, Costco, for 7 years and I've heard him talk about liking certain things about holding a full time job. The 401k, paid vacation, especially for as long as he's been there I think he gets 5 weeks which is a lot. He's also probably respected at work somewhat b/c at those places the turnover is somewhat high so for him to have stayed as long as he has and actually enjoy his job is a smaller group than people who just wake up and go b/c they have to. I also bet he hasnt been late to work in a long time.To everyone on the outside they just think, "Walmart, ewwww shit job," but the thing is, it's a job. He will probably stay there and shoot for some sort of management or supervisor title and one day retire from there. Thats just my 2 cents but he doesnt strike me as someone who would just leave Walmart when he probably has it made there. Not everyone out there is going to have some big provocative job I mean I would wager that a higher percentage of United States is filled with jobs like his rather than jobs you go home and brag about. I could be wrong I'm just mainly throwing in my part for the kids who are waiting for the day he streams full time or something, newsflash, he's surprisingly more responsible than that lol.

I'm not saying that it implys a good job I'm saying that it seems to be enough for him and I feel bad for him when hes constantly bombarded with questions about when he's leaving. He isnt, he really likes his job so its actually insulting when everyone else disses it.

He seems much more passionate for dota 2 than most people in the scene. I believe that if he gets an opening to go full time he will dive into it. It doesn't even comes to my mind wether his job is decent or not. Also maybe he can get a full time job at BTS or EG.

Hmmm Arteezy playing like 1000 games of pottm in a row as carry. I don't like Rtz carry pottm

his builds always involve linkens as first core item and that just means he hardly does anything / needs a good 10 minutes of farming.

His builds seem to be;
Treads
Dragon Lance
Linkens
Diffusal

Then Bkb if needed or Butterfly and stuff.

The Dragon lance is better than before but still, i don't like pottm as carry

(midas - rare)
Dragon Lance
(Maelstrom or Diffusal, game dependant and not always either of them)
Linkens
luxury composed of BKB/Butter/MKB, upgrading mael if purchased

It's pretty consistent. Little variations game to game but always treads aquila dragonlance linkens and only a small group of items after that realistically.

Obviously stuff like maelstrom vs ck but not vs AM, diffusal vs necro, but the number of variations are simply small compared to some other heroes.

Yeah yesterday stream was like Treads - Dragon Lance - Linkens no aquilla, today might been bit diffo only saw one game.
But the 2nd item Linkens is where issue becomes as it so hard to farm on Pottm right? I mean in TI it was a problem as the hero just can't farm quick enough. For example when Sumail played it mid it's a total different build went malestrom or sometimes blink for other situations.

Just dont like the hero as carry unless it's just my noob thinking xD

Seems to me that Aghs is the way to go even on a right-click carry build. An early game Aghs is just so much damage in team fights, giving you plenty of killing power, and it massively speeds up your farming to transition into the more traditional right-click items.

I mean this isn't the potm discussion thread but aghs is pretty much conclusively proven bad at this point unless you are roaming/4pos potm. Costs too much, offers too little for a core position right click potm.

It's different if your job is running around chucking arrows and buying mana boots.

Yeah but isn't it just so hard to farm as pottm and if you are getting early levels or securing levels a bit easier in the early game as pos 1/2 pottm it does then speed up the transition to say a linkens rather than the longer way of getting to it?

This was the whole problem i saw from carry pottm (from Rtz at least) in TI

we shall see anyway, maybe god like arrows from super 10k mmr Rtz be enough to farm easier linkens :D

or you just play it in the offlane like liquid did at starladder. I think that suits the hero best right now. This way you are more like a utility mirana, and dont have so much pressure to farm a lot. You are here for the arrows and your ult basically, while you still get good xp from the lane.
