How about 1. Fear/Resolution/Arteezy (Pedur already stabbed Secret/Puppey in the back, and forced them into the qualifiers. Since the knife is already in Puppey's back, why not turn it too?) 2. W33/Sufail/rtz 3. Universe 4. Zai 5. PPD Is EG tired of Fear's arm preventing quality practice? That's the main reason they would dump him. That and Zai is available. EG maximum carnage build 1. Reso (screw suns fan) 2. RTZ/W33 (how much does pedur hate puppey?) 3. Universe 4. Zai 5. PPD (stab puppey in the back, then turn the knife with rtz) I perfer: 1. Fear 2. W33 3. Uni 4. Zai 5. PPD 1. Pedur already stabbed puppey in the back, no need to turn it. 2. Plus, you dismantle your main opponent in the open qualifiers 3. Stealing resolution would be a great Game of thrones move, but i <3 Fear. 4. RTZ riki'd Pedur twice, does Pedur want to risk 3rd time just for sadboys nostalgia | ||

If ti was still 1 mil, you could easily hold a grudge. I still think it comes down to w33 rtz, sumail. Who ever is the best mid for the team, and a large chunk of 20 mil, they will take. the past doesn't matter for that much freakin' money. PPD, fear, zai, and universe will discuss it. Whoever they think it the best for team, they will recruit. | ||

idk you guys are really assuming a lot. Even if Zai is coming back, there's even less evidence that Sumail is on the chopping block. The weak link is obviously Aui at 1, and the simplest solution to that is Fear -> #1 and Aui/Zai -> #4. That would be more than sufficient now Universe is back on board. | ||

EG built the team around Suma1l mid for a reason, one because of his age and two his potential is crazy. Just hold off until Sunday/Monday when EG will confirm their new roster; 1. Fear 2. Suma1l 3. Universe 4. Zai 5. Ppd Nothing else! | ||

Ive seen nothing anywere about suma1l being in danger..? Also his tweet from yesterday: "God Bless" and changes his twitter pic from that afro american smoking the bong too himself in a EG shirt. | ||

EG destroyed the lane, but Fy came with an unused, 1-off combo (Lifestealer + Slardar) Still, EG should have rolled through that game, but they kept getting picked off, giving up kills when they didn't need to. Their mid-game coordination was just completely off. While they only have 1 week to get ready for Open then Regional Qualifiers, and Zai & Sumail haven't played together, this is still the core parts of an EG squad that has 3 3rds & 1 TI win at Valve events in the last 5. And whatever you want to call DAC. (I personally just call it a Major & Valve event, but the Stats folks have gone with not calling it a Valve event.) If this team is focused, they're going to be damn scary. And it's not unprecedented to do this. LGD did this at TI3, though they only placed 9th/12th. But we probably shouldn't skip over the fact this pretty much destroys Secret's chance of making it to TI6. I don't see Secret getting through the Regional Qualifiers. He might have thought he was getting the boot, but Sumail showed up for Manila. He was dominating his lane most of the time, it's just they couldn't team-fight well enough in the mid-game to capitalize on it. | ||

(A bunch of teams suddenly figured out how to Ban properly and, look, they won stuff!) EG will be rolling with at least 1 coach and they could rope in a few more helpers as well. They can scout every team they're going to be facing in the Open Qualifier stage after the brackets are set. That's a pretty damn massive advantage. The only real detail is whether there is any NA invites to TI6. If Complexity gets an invite, then there's really only DC to be of any concern in the NA Region. | ||

1 fear 2 sumail 3 uni 4 zai 5 ppd seems like they have a good chance for the first team to win a second/consecutive ti if they dont somehow get cheese in the qualifiers cuz bo1. | ||
