For games like Assassin’s Creed or Red Dead I could see using it. Or even a PvE game like Anthem. But developers need to want to develop for it. The tech isn’t useful if there are no killer games that make people want to buy in.

So they gave it to someone else. But I also got the details from a former co-worker at the firm and the compensation would not have been sufficient anyways. From further digging, that firm’s lead partner seems to be living a world where 10% unemployment is forever and people should be grateful to be offered a job. He and I would not have been buddies, because I am the guy who answers “No” to the boss’s question “Are you a team player?”

So basically, I didn’t get it because they knew I would ask for what I was worth.

I’ve been talking with my manager about changing my hours to avoid traffic and cut down on my commute. It just means breaking it to attorneys who can’t deal with the concept of me leaving earlier.

Because they want more user data, more money any occupy/control more of your time.
All these companies are competing for your time investment.

Just like Netflix CEO said their biggest competitor ins't HBO or Amazon. It's simply sleep.

Because they were always developing the streaming tech and it is low investment. There are almost no production costs to creating yet another box that can stream video. And they don’t need to do R&D on a physical console.

Kickstarter's staff just unionized. There is nothing I love more than some tech or gaming related company's staff unionizing, because its about time. And on top of that, it is pure joy to watch all the gamer and tech fanboy shills come out and rail against unions while have zero understanding of unions and how they work. Its my new guilty pleasure.

The 1980s were real stupid and we basically have never recovered the collective dumb. My fathers family is the product of Irish union workers and for some dumb ass reason doesn't like unions because he owns his own company. It is one of the few times I've told him off was his dumb ass opposition to something that will never negatively impact him.
