i'm doing the parts of sound engineer at my work because we are recording weekly science stuff from our academics to make science more public but nobody knows how to use the huge sound system they bought and of course they told me "hey you, learn this"

they keep making serious updates every four or five months. kind of astonishing to me that its been maintained this consistently since like 2003

Yeah, it's impressive too that they're still willing to make big sweeping changes like removing races or overhauling dungeon areas. I was keeping up with the patch notes for awhile even after I stopped playing. I'm interested if they changed up any of the 15-rune content, I always loved 3-rune but the additional content for 15-rune always felt like a big slog.

15 rune is still in kind of a weird place from what i understand. a lot of gods are very bad in the extended game, so most characters wind up worshiping the shining one. The current state of the mutation system can cause you to be stuck with some game-endingly bad status' if you cant find enough mutation potions to get rid of them.

3 rune seems like just the right amount of content

I thought I knew about every freeware trash rougelike out there, but I'm happy to be surprised. I love finding community developed games that have been hammered at for 15 years and are now dense like uranium tank shell. And then never playing them because who has time for that.

Edit: Oh shit, it had a DS port. This shit is wild. How did my idiot friends who love this shit never try to convince me to play this?

I'm very interested to see how that product works. Like a lot of streaming services, it seems like some real pie in the sky shit that works for areas with amazing internet. They also need game developers to think this thing is a good idea and put their games on the system.
