Ya I actually really like the new tomb raider games and I bought shadow months ago and play it for like a week but didnt finish for some reason. Dunno why really. game was pretty good. I didnt click your spoiler and appreciate it. What I really should do, is just turn the difficulty down as low as I can for combat, so I can just cruise through that part and keep it maxed for the other exploration/puzzle stuff which is way better.
My iphoneX looks like an iphoneX dunno. heh. Previous iphones I used lifeproof cases cuz I absolutely need waterproof and I would wear out the stupid 90$ lifeproof case in less than a year and buy a new one start of every fishing season. I've trusted to the 'waterproofness' of the iphoneX and it hasn't failed me yet. With no case I periodically have to clean out the charging port but that's all. I try to avoid digging my phone out of pocket while fishing because it is fairly annoying cuz I have gloves/raingear on. I use a bluetooth earpiece EXTENSIVELY both while actively working gear and during non-opener days doing gear work and stuff. Can answer call from anybody, and can use voice commands to call other skiffs/shore support and do all the time. Used to use small frs radios to coordinate between the 3 skiffs and beach crew but use exclusively cell now and it works so much better actually. the radios were a pita. A lot of my friends break the screens on their phones while fishing but I never have. When I used to winter pot fish, and listen to music off my phone so it was in my hip pocket, I legit 'caught' the swinging pot (which weigh like 4-500lbs) on my hip so many times I would have a bruise there the whole season the shape of my phone. Every time the corner of pot hit extra hard Id be so sure it would break my phone and it never did.... but then once I was sitting in cabin, and my friend was literally just sitting there tapping his phone on the galley table cuz he was bored, and his screen just shattered. rofl
Ya I watched it. I'm not really into climbing or anything at all, but I REALLY appreciate his outlook on life in general. Slight paraphrase here but the 'lifes hard sometimes and you fail at a lot of things, but for me, knowing that right now, in this one moment, I achieved perfection at something I care about is worth a lot'. HELL YES. He fucking GETS it. Theres no substitute for those moments, that noone can EVER take them away from you, and you can be on your deathbed and look back on, and say, 'That one time, I achieved greatness'. And I'm not talking about in other peoples eyes, although that usually comes it just doesn't matter so much; I'm talking about for yourself. Obviously in his case, the greatness is appreciated by almost anybody and STILL you will see comments everywhere about how he is wasting his life, being irresponsible, has no future, etc. I think its hugely undervalued/unappreciated in our society, and in fact so many people talk so much shit about that pursuit of greatness and try to trap everyone into just going through the motions and living out their lives in mediocrity. So ya...

yeah, what the hell is up with that, who pissed in his soup? Why did he go out of his way to ruin the Guide experience for most casual players? He doesnt wanna update or make more guides, fine, who cares, but manipulating the guide-recommendation system so he can troll people with his empty guides, what the hell

As to how the movie affected my life already, it makes me reflect more often on what I want to do with my one life on earth and not so much seek fulfilment and happiness in future things but also live life in a way that the present is fun and not a chore. Shifting my valuation of things and or people. Overall the life affirming extremes I will definitely not repeat but I do realise how much I like climbing and will at some point dedicate hopefully a year or so to it. How I will do that is TBD but that's not the point of finding out what you want to do...
