Like just didnt show up heh. it is a 5 hr drive and all but thats not the real reason, im gonna drive up tomorrow anyways and give them all their presents and shiz. And my christmas by myself with my dog in my log house in the middle of nowhere alaska has been pretty good tbh. Played some games, read the last 100 pages of a good book. cook some sick foods. Even making a cheesecake to take up North for peace offering so maybe go to my brothers house and have some cheesecake and coffee and give them and parents their gifts. Thing is of course, other people are very disappointed in me/concerned about me/whatever. But you know what Holidays arent my thing, and the pressure put on me to care about them by everyone else is honestly awful and sometimes I just cant handle it. So maybe for one christmas ever I just did my own thing. Shoot me. (Oh except I also did not drive up for thanksgiving heh... which i told them.... but they didnt believe me. And I actually did intend to drive up for christmas all the way up to the point where I didnt do it...) Anyways Merry Christmas Everyone | ||

As I've been solely living around two hours in advance and mostly been focusing on my own good for the last like three to four weeks that is just fine for me. Haven't really thought about presents tbh and am glad for the planning time I have left. All I've been doing is eat sleep boulder walk watch dota play banner saga read news shop repeat for just about three weeks now. So amazing. Not giving a care in the world about anything but myself is a nice change of pace. Will be happy to see my family again and do a belated Christmas day with them. | ||

My wife and I are going to Gloomhaven. Which already gets points for giving you 6 really cool characters to pick from as starting characters and fun little boxes to put them in. I just need to buy 1000 ziplock bags because, fuck, that is so much cardboard. PS: there is a PC version coming soon, which should be a great game to play with friends like some old fashion table top RPG. | ||
