I have watched a lot of films, here is my IMDB list (with a few mini-series and documentaries added) if you ever want to get in to it. Anything between 7-10 rating is good. I just really prefer books over movies due to the amount of details, extreme exploration of ideas and introspective it offers that no other medium of story-telling compares(simply because thousands to million of words does allow that while films/animated medium has limited running time due to budget, casting etc etc .. it's just a matter of limitation of the medium itself). So really it's just a matter of how much time i wanna spend on something. P.S. i bought cuz of RA Salvatore hype partly, but I really think that was just marketing and don't think it had any impact on the game. I played it same time period as I played DA:O. (same summer from hell I was hanging out in a shabby old cabin at fishing site for 1.5 months waiting for opener) and DA:O was 100x the game and is a large part of why amalur was so forgettable for me. But that doesnt mean its terrible cuz DA:O is still one of the best rpgs i ever play that i invested the most/was the most immersed in. | ||

Also fun is that the IP for KoA is owned by Rhode Island or some shit right now because reasons. Have played divinity OS 1 and 2 multiplayer with a buddy. Both are actually fantastic. Definitely play through those. | ||

So Kingdoms of Amalur is worth a try then. Tbh i've played all 3 dragon age games and their dlc's too many times so i don't plan on playing them again anytime soon. What about divinity ? How good is it compared to Dragon Age ? What about that fable (if ever there was a pc version)?
