Still, it makes sense to keep the dev team but it seems like they just decided to publish that HotS was losing its support really suddenly. I suspect it'll take a while before the changes are noticeable to the playerbase to be honest, things take time to have an impact. I just had a thought: maybe they're working on WarCraft: Reforged or something. I believe the teams weren't notified until recently as well. If they were cutting support for the esport, it would've made more sense to tell those involved sooner, unless it was their Blizzcon numbers that made them pull the plug on it.

It’s a Blizzard game, it will never truly die. It will just exist forever is some weird limbo state of immortal popularity, like D2.

That makes me think someone well above Blizzard pulled that plug on the game and pro-season.

For highskill bracket/prolevel it's really fast and feels like you have more weight not melee fast, but its like that, if you like melee more its more about personal preference, but it plays SO much better than brawl, and its a complete upgrade over the fantastic game that was 4 already. im loving it, so good. The online system is wtf tho, like i dont get that much lag and ive been getting 1v1s so its good in that regard, but the ranked system with GSP is really wonky and doesnt tell a thing overall but some pros have been really happy with it, i remember Armada saying that this game also catters to melee fans

Seriously though, you take that job you are looking at five figures in legal bills up front.

Also, I'm not sure he can take the job since he can barely get low level security clearance. Doesn't mean Trump won't try. Edit: Nice, I still win if he does it while keeping his old job in the White House. That man has three jobs now.

That would be pretty consistent with what we've been hearing about Blizzard lately around Diablo, where they pulled the plug on the 2nd expansion before the first expansion & console ports had time to establish Diablo as much bigger hit than the initial launch. I'm curious if HotS was making good money or not, I know the player base was small, but on top of that the game model was pretty easy to grind away for playstyle unlocks and and their cosmetic system wasn't nearly as interesting as other games.
