Yeah superhero movies are bad. I thought Deadpool could have been really good if they took the fourth wall breaking far enough. Instead they still felt like they had to use a love interest as the main driver of the plot.
Theres a Deadpool arc in the comics where he falls in love with Death (represented as a talking skeleton), so he goes on a quest to kill himself for good so he can be with her.
another one where he leaves the marvel universe entirely and enters our reality to kill the employees of marvel studios.
They should make Deadpool movies that actually upend expectations of what a superhero movie is instead of just making them into regular superhero movies with jokes.
