today I got a call I have the job

now I have to hand in my 8 weeks notice. and I don't know how my boss will handle this. I'm one of 3 employees. I have to tell her before I formaly hand in my termination.
ayayayay I'm so happy and confused at the same time. progress here I come fuck yes 8 weeks notice lul
more like 2 here

It's 8 weeks for me thanks to my contact. I think legal minimum is four weeks, three months are usual and for crucial positions sometimes more.
@ith I sincerely think it's gonna be more fun. Definitely what's important to me. Nice colleagues, good learning opportunities to later gain so much money that I don't have to work so many hours (40/wk min now).

Sounds like a good system if it works. We had a professor literally bail on us a week before the semester started. The guy who filled him in was pressured into his role. I think the department would've appreciated knowing 4+ weeks in advance to plan stuff out.

US minimal system is basically "why are you still even here?" 5 seconds after giving notice

new pro circuit system could be a significant upgrade in a lot of ways
hate the no invites shit but what can you do? at least they removed the roster lock
first roster submission on september 15th when TI ends on aug 25th tho... that seems a bit tight

people who resign are dead weight at that point why keep them on for an entire month lol
|
Yeah I like the new major minor systme a LOT.
i think overall an improvement

And for finishing projects and or handing over projects it does make sense to have a month or more to do that. Also keep in mind that we're just 3 employees and a boss. Applying usual rules does make little sense in that context at times.

the major qualifiers start on sep. 17th so it has to be that tight

Can any one suggest me some good free to play multiplayer city-builder game on steam?
Also, no one here plays Awesomenauts..?? That game is too good to be ignored completely.

Teah don't like the equal amount of slots too. No way 2 of the best SA teams is equivalent to 2 of the best CN teams. I'd rather have 3 CN teams and 1 SA team.

Huh, so Loda retired, about time haha

I just realized that the upper bracket of SupahMajor is the 4 best teams of the year. The two best of the early season(TL and Secret) and then the best of the late season (VP and LGD). All four are the top 4 of the DPC rankings
It is indeed the supa major

Darkest Dungeon + DLC on sale on GOG for 26 CAD, any thoughts, guys?

go for it
but don't buy the dlc
it's shit

Game without DLC is 12 CAD. What was wrong about the DLC?

Dlc is okay. Doesnt change that much. Adds 1 dungeon that you rarely go to and i think 1 class. Plus some items.
Game is good but one campaign will take upwards 40 hours or more so you better have a stomach for repitition

2 classes I think (Shieldbreaker & Flagellant).
One big thing though are the district buildings which are pretty fun.
