I don't hate the idea, the base building in Fo4 handled decently well, and the scavenging was initially really fun until it just became overbearing (or pointless). If you designed the gameplay more around survival and the base building was more for personal survival than colony building it could work. | ||

1st or 3rd person base building is meh according to my taste, same as multiplayer only. I'm kinda interested in the fallout franchise but only ever thought about getting 4 and that didn't appeal to me. ooooh jurie is at the waga training camp. idk if he's in one of the teams fighting on waga stream right now tho | ||

But like a single life Fallout based around scavenging and surviving would be pretty awesome in my book. Like a lot of mechanics could be a lot more relevant in this setting (rads, drug addiction, damaged limbs). | ||

I'd love to see their attempt though. So far it feels like subnautica has got the singleplayer survival gameplay loop right, so it'll be interesting to see bethesda's shot at it. | ||
