Also, if you're adventurous and really like hiking, Pedra da Gavea is an amazing trip, though it's a little dangerous (very steep).

Edit : Including what happens for roster swaps. Ex : If a team starts with majority NA players at start of season & has majority SEA players at end of season, how is it decided which region's qualifiers they will play?

For invites, it doesn't matter at all cuz valve just invites them. For the qualifiers, it's on a tournament by tournament basis. Faceit traditionally runs the TI qualifiers, so their rules for dota tournaments (which I believe were constructed in cooperation with valve for the TI stuff) are what govern it. They require 3/5 the players to be physically playing from a region, and they define regions (stuff like "what region is india in" etc). You can google their rules, I don't have a link handy. With respect to your edit, it doesn't matter what happens at the start of the season. If you swapped players after the roster lock, then you are ineligible for invite and you just play whatever open qualifiers you qualify for. In the case of EG, they can play NA or EU pretty easily by moving fly + s4 to their teamhouse in america, or moving sumail + arteezy to a bootcamp in EU for a few weeks (and crit)

I am in office and all the google pages I can access have nothing on this that is helping. So what about teams like Fnatic? They got 2 from SEA, 2 from NA & 1 from EU. Did they choose their region or are the players all SEA server players (well not all, but atleast 1 of the 3 non SEA players)?

I mean, that's not an intelligent way to look at it. Bluehole, the studio that made TERA, agreed to give brendan greene like some trivial budget (say $500,000) to make his game. Maybe a few coders were the same, or maybe not so much. anyway pubg way outgrew bluehole so they spun off a new studio (pubgcorp) which they own. We figure it's industry standard to charge real money and in-game currency both" Missing the obvious bit where their game is on steam, which has infinite free instantaneous name changes
