The TI was run in the US up until this year. I do love that some folks act like the US is imposing this on players, but foreign players are all like “Give me those Freedom Dollars!” And seriously do they not tell you all that the N-word is a word that will get your ass beat if you use it in the wrong part of the US? I don't agree with people's cultural projections that the internet is somehow an american space. And more to the point I think that making judgements about a cultural term and it's use by people from significantly different cultures is ridiculous and offensive. | ||

Yet of course some might just be trying to reason that it's a little bit more understandable (understanding =/= acceptance) but I suppose that's not really relevant. Also I'm unsure how actually widespread it is, as it's hard to tell. Reddit being reddit. | ||

Then to balance that there was 5 things that made me chuckle or smile. So better news channel for my mental health than normal news. Actually reading deep into comment trees is not recommended though. Non-curated discussions tend to have bad parts, sadly. Though top rated comments usually tends to be insightful or interesting and often worth reading. | ||
