Well, it all but proves that the one writer there is an irredeemable fuckwit. Not even bothering to research... I mean, it might have been cool if he/she turned it around into an educational article about Japanese gaming. Like, "This amazing Japanese designer is totally unfamiliar with PC gaming and Valve... why is this normal for Japan?" and gone on to talk about consoles, arcades, and maybe even gone so far as to explain that PC games are generally thought to be H-games over there. It would be a neat introduction to a different style of video game culture. But of course he/she didn't fucking do that. | ||

I looked up the article and the title sucks(and was changed by their head editor), but the content is pretty interesting. Apparently Japan's version of steam is just the US version with a couple tweeks. Japanese characters don't work in the search and only 105 game of 1700 are translated in any way. So unless you read English really well, the system is pretty useless in Japan. Its sort of the reverse of when people used to import crazy Japanese games back in the 90s. The author lives in Japan and uses their version of steam. But that title is fucking garbage and way to aggressive. | ||
