"A champions strength shouldn't be dictated based on if you buy a QSS or not. Veigar as you mentioned, gets completely shafted by the appropriate itemization, and completely dominates when people fail to itemize against him. He was also seeing quite a few picks in high elo as both a mid and a support because you can't really outplay him. All his kit was unable to be dodged, meaning he either stunned you and killed you in that timeframe or got off his instant damage before you killed him, or he just blows his combo then dies. Zed, for example, has multiple ways to approach the game, and even when a champion gets QSS, he is still very bursty, has a lot of sustained damage and good outplay potential and is also a good split pusher. Zed can also be outplayed pretty hard since all his abilities can be dodged or negated While the Veigar changes were god awful, his kit was just completely unhealthy in multiple ways." This was particularly funny to me as pretty much every hero in Dota has to be balanced around BKB and how strong it is. Ah well, different games I guess. | ||

Which is somewhat of a middleground between LoL and Dota philosophies. Was 5.4 the blink dagger Vigoss era? I dunno why I'm talking about neichus right now. | ||

There were a lot of games, but it was almost half that number. It was like 100-120. | ||
