This is the dress. So we can see how shitty the image is and why the lighting makes the Black look yellowish, but I still have no idea how you can get from deep blue to white. | ||

First guess I would have said it was white and gold with the white balance set really, really cool. Looking properly it looks more likely that the WB is warm and they've pushed the exposure super high, so the blacks become orangish and the blues become a kinda nasty blue-white. The entire background is orange too, and that stuff was probably originally very dark. | ||
