Breaker didn't switch and the appliances still work if I plug them elsewhere So does that mean the wiring in the wall is faulty? by 'breakers didn't switch' do you mean none of your breakers tripped? cause if none of them tripped then idk what happened if it did trip, just reset the breaker. also unplug your lamp before you do and I'd recommend plugging it into a socket that connects to a different breaker. btw if you have breakers im pretty sure you don't have fuses as well.

imo call 911 for a professional electrician to come out and give your circuit breakers a nice lengthy examination

regardless, yeah the breaker prolly has a fuse in it. Figure out which breaker it is then see if u can't find a fuse in it or something also i'd be careful plugging that lamp into any other sockets either it could potentially blow those breakers too. Which while amusing probably isn't going to help u very much.

looks like if u flip the breaker off u can probably put the fuse in the part above the breaker switch? if so I'd flip the switches 1 by 1 till u figure out which one is the busted one then replace it's fuse and see wat ahppens as mentioned make sure the lamp aint still plugged in
