Playing Super Mario 3D World was fun, having to buy a Wii Mote just to play New Super Mario Bros (since the gamepad doesn't work in multiplayer) bothered me a bit (I'll use the Wii Mote for any Wii Games I might get, so whatever I guess). But I tried to play Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash with the Pro Controller and it was both awkward and uncomfortable. So much that I was immediately turned off from both. The buttons for the pro controller are too close together and too small and driving in Mario Kart 8 is just awful after playing Mario Kart DS on a near competitive level for so many years. | ||
