Anyway, I got to go to this $1M+ wedding in La Jolla thrown by Mexican Jews (yep they exist and are apparently loaded). We knew the bride as she's my wife's friend and she met the dude on jewdate or some jew only dating site, I forget the name. What a score.

It was actually completely absurd and split my inner monologue in two. Half of me wanted to do whatever it took (killing, stealing, hard work lel) to achieve the financial success to throw a million dollar party, the other half couldn't believe how incredibly wasteful and absurd the entire event was. It was a neat experience if nothing else and it is where my love affair with Whisky began, so there's that.
