his transformation was what blew me up, I did not think to try fire and oil. I knew how to burst him down to 1/3 HP but after that I felt like he was neo from the matrix
I should also point out that Im not sure how you found him but not the cleric beast yet lol

After that, I made my way to the elevator area with the big flaming ball and road that up to open the short cut to Father Gascoigne. After I fought him once and saw he held still for that transformation, I just mauled him with fire.
I played DS, so I have this natural aversion to the most obvious path. You were way better off searching everywhere for better equipment and loot. I'm going to find the beast when I get home and give him a shot.

I got hit with the shockwave from the transformation once and was like nope nope nope.
but yeah I have no idea how you didn't see the cleric beast considering you must have wanted to kill yourself with the lack of shortcut to Father Gascoigne's area.

Those two werewolves kicked my ass a bunch of times, so I stopped going that way dove into the sewers. Thats when I found out everything hates fire.

Father Gascoigne was far easier than Cleric Beast imo anyway, especially if you have the music box from that little girl. Also I thought the Blood Starved Beast was one of the easier ones as well, I'm curious as to how your friends can't get past him. His patterns are fairly easy to figure out and his second phase isn't really that difficult. I found Martyr Logarius kind of difficult because I went to Cainhurst underleveled, lol.
Also Bloodtinge/Chikage PvP build #1 build. I also have a skill/blades of mercy build which is kinda cool.

All these skill builds sound neat. But all I want is a huge sword covered in fire and rage.
Where is this music box girl in relation to the starting lamppost?

i heard they fixed the load screen times so that's great.

tbh i wasn't really paying attention as i was marathoning death parade at 2x lol

The key to his second phase is just completely avoiding him when he goes crazy and does multiple attacks in a row, don't even bother trying to dodge them. I mean it's not that hard to dodge that combo but you probably aren't going to get very many attacks in return on him so it's not worth it. The best way to beat that phase (imo) is to wait for his one slow windup attack and get a parry off on him with your gun, then go for a visceral strike. Also his poison explosion thing is beyond easy to avoid, if your friends were consistently dying to that one they should just uninstall
@Plansix There's a house with a NPC you can talk to on your way out of the sewers. There is a shortcut thing you can open, and her house is literally right beside it. This shortcut should bring you close to the main square areas where all those big mobs are.
btw not the shortcut on the way to gascoigne. The one that brings you to the start of central yharnam. It's on the other exit of the sewers, I think you need to go up some ladders and stuff.

subtle flamulator mode engaged
think the problem was they couldn't get the timing down for the gun-stagger, it was always just guesswork for them.

immolator flame is best flame

I really need to go back and beat dark souls
|
The gun work isn't that hard for me. Some of the enemies are just easier of you stagger them, rather than dodge and 3 hit combo them. Fuck, I want to go play now.
Beat DS, its really good. The last area is an amazing piece of visual work.

I’ve been able to play a maybe 5 hours of Bloodborne. I will get some in this weekend, but there is a lot of work to do around the house. The back deck won’t clean itself.

Exposing sediment dwelling freshwater oligochaetes to varying levels of total organic material in the sediment and spiking the sediment with Lowest Observed Effect(140 mg/kg dryweight sediment) and LC50(220 mg/kg dryweight sediment) Copper Chloride Dihydrate
IT WOULD'VE BEEN REALLY FUCKING NEAT IF THE WORMS WOULD STOP FUCKING DYING AT WHAT SHOULD BE THE LOWEST OBSERVED EFFECT CONCENTRATION, so now we're taking care of worms whilst trying to analyze what could've gone wrong.
Also they're not earthworms, that would've made everything so much easier to deal with because they're so big. There's another person working with earthworms in the same lab though. They're dunking them into liquid nitrogen currently.
