Yeah, Hotbid made the move from Netherlands back to New York in December, and then there was the holidays and I don't think anyone would expect content to come out during that.

Feel like the community slowly just ate itself from the inside out. Everything was perceived negatively, qqing about balance, matchups, etc it never ended. People found new and unique ways to present their distaste with anything.

When was the last time a finals in SC2 was legit hyped? Oh it's Tvt..ZvZ...PvP...nameless Koreans...ZZZZZ. We're all just entitled 12 year olds.

I mean sc2 has been getting worse not better for quite awhile now, the community turns on itself and the few people still making content, and blizzard got really greedy with the 3 parts to 1 game approach. I expect Kespa will drop sctoo for either sole focus on lol or broodwar with in a year of of LOTV not fixing the problems with the game on a competitive or casual point of view. Right now its a dying scene and the in fighting and self destructive nature of the community is just hastening that process. Its a pity, but blizzard has been self sabotaging since the original beta if not longer.

brood war was a pt 2 to one game that fixed balance issues w/ new items..it doesnt matter how many parts the game is split into, it matters whether or not there uis balance and the game is fun/engaging to play?

all this sc talk makes me want to install brood war. alll i ever wanted from sc2 was some quality of life improvements to bw and the updated editor.

youre right tho, the sc2 fans harassing bw fans was sorta funny..even from day 1 it was obvious bw was the superior gamer.
