And that is the exact wrong way to play any souls game. Go farm up and find equipment better suited for da boss.

I'm taking care of one now he's like 16 and has some trouble with stairs which sucks and is sad
but he is smart as fuck and really nice and super well behaved and shit
although yeah even with how old he is I take him for a pretty long walk each day, I took care of him years ago and he needed a ton of exercise
top tier dogs but no way I could get one at my age. I really want a dog but with inconsistently/unpredictably long hours it's hard to feel responsible getting one. Maybe now that I won't be working a job with oncall I'll be ok with it idk

Treads switching isn't a whole lot harder than learning to spam the Magic Stick hotkey when you're in danger. That is, over the course of a couple games focusing solely on it, you ought to be able to start using it as an instinctive response (albeit a very poorly optimized one which might sometimes get you killed).
Just play 20 games with no intent beyond Treads switching and it ought to be fine.
