Not sure yet! I'm on a long-term vacation from work and my girlfriend is on a 3 month sabbatical; we figured we should do some kind of very longterm travel while we have the chance! So I just booked tickets to Seoul and figured that'd force us to figure something out. We'll probably head over to either Japan or Taiwan for at least a few days. Haven't booked any lodging yet so pretty flexible on where we go. Anyway if you've got suggestions I'd gladly take them!!

I have a spreadsheet somewhere that my wife and I made of tourist attractions in Seoul for when our friends/family visited for our wedding. Remind me over the weekend and I'll DM it your way.

It's especially beautiful during autumn.

Definitely worth a trip, though I'm not sure how you'd get there without a car. The temples are pretty cool too. The only issue is every single building is labelled something like, 'this temple existed since the 1100s ... until the Japanese burned it down. This is a reconstruction.'
