There's the voice in the back of my head that tells me to buy it now, but hearing about its technical issues makes me very reticent. I can afford to wait one or two weeks for its bugs to settle down with patching and for people to give impressions on it.

I think it's definitely gonna need some time to work out the bugs based on the reviews iv read. One review said that there were major graphics glitches in the final cutscenes lol

I really miss tier 1 casters in Dota. any idea why for example OD Pixel and Cap are not casting any of the online leagues? Apart from OMEGA League. The only ;logical explanation I can think of is that they are asking for too much money / the leagues not offering them enough money.

I think the scene really suffers because of that. We also lost Tobi and Grant earlier, of course.

i only watch chinese dota but i actually dont mind this patch. its been the least bad early-autumn patch for a long time. i far prefer this patch over post ti8 and post ti9 (especially post ti9).

and you're always going to see the same heroes in a patch this old.

Ordered a new monitor yesterday at 10pm, 32", 144Hz, 1440p. Thinking: "It was a shit year, gotta buy one nice thing for christmas for myself. Going to be quitie a jump from my 23" 60Hz."
Today the shop changed the availability to "unknown". Might be a christmas without the new nerd-toy.

I thought the same for the longest time. I am eying for a monitor arm for both monitors in the near future. And one of the current monitors is only 20" and has no VESA mount. I have to get rid of it in any case.

Yea, I hope it's worth it. I'll also be moving into my own apartment out of the shared apartment over christmas. So there is lots of spending to be done.
