I'm in my mid 20s and feel super insecure about how little I've achieved lately. People my age already well on the start of their careers, finishing up law school, continuing med school or already studded with graduate degrees. Someone I graduated uni with is on the longlist for a pretty prestigious magazine award. Meanwhile I'm still bumming around with no real direction and an arts degree lol.

Although I've gotta say one thing that definitely hurt in the Witcher 3 for me was that I really didn't like any of the characters and I bet the game woulda felt different if that wasn't true.

I played through the games (except TW2, that one had actually atrociously bad combat and I just saw a YouTube walkthrough) and read through all the books so I had a strong emotional connection to the Witcher's characters and world, which made the series' painful moments more tolerable. I had a motivation to see it through, but if you had no attachment, yeah, there isn't that much the series has to offer. I suspect Cyberpunk will also be very character-driven and if you can't find an emotional anchor, might be a pretty dull open world ARPG.
