even tho the PS5 is supposedly less powerful than the new xbox, after partly watching a Horizon Zero Dawn documentary (about the studio) I cannot forgo the backwards compatibility for all the awesome PS4 games.

btw: since a couple of days ago I have video stuttering on twitch/YouTube when using the full screen. I have to pause/unpause, min/maximize to get rid of it. Edge is way better in handling this than Firefox. sometimes even fixing the problem on its own. Dont think it happens with Netflix.

I forgot how hard Mass Effect 1 is on Insanity difficulty, I already lost 2 Shepards in my iron Man challenge. Then again I'm playing with a fresh start and not NG+ so not much skill points and gear in the beginning.

Artificial difficulty makes me a very unhappy person. You didn't make me master the mechanics or think creatively to solve problems, you just made things more tedious. It's anti-fun design.

There are cases where 'more health' difficulty can be a fun increase in difficulty, but in most games its just tedious and lazy design.

I think ammo-scrounging shooters are the worst offender for that sort of thing. Having to punch normal enemies to death so you have enough ammo for the actual boss is awful.

I do it for the challenge, sure I could just bruteforce the game even on Insanity but I've done that before already, the permadeath rule makes it extra spicy. There are enemies that will fuck you up if you're not careful or not prepared and I actually have to think about my squad composition and skill builds (at least earlygame when every skill point matters).

yeah, I think what makes it acceptable in the RE:2 remake though is that you can choose which sections to make easier on yourself later so you can decide if you want to just run through somewhere or kill the zombies and use your ammo. Fuck the lickers in that game though god damn terrifying things lol

If you really hate hp sponge games then I've been playing the old langrisser games. Silliest basic sounding plot but they're a lot of fun. (Everyone has 10 max HP in that series before the new mobile one).

Stay away from the 3ds one though. It has the worst chosen graphics ever for its cut-in fights and was voted one of the worst games of the year by pretty much everyone.

The new Xbox might actually be free to use Steam and EPIC. Too bad they don't include UBI or EA in this.
But that makes the decision as to which console to get in 2020 more difficult. I don't wanna shell out 1k at the end of the year for both. If that's even enough.

I saw that. She was dying soon, not yet, so it wasn't her actual deathbed.

Also people react in all sorts of different ways to grief. He may have been reaching out for sympathy. As long as it isn't selfies with a corpse (I've seen this) I'm okay with it.

He also had a previous post where he was with his wife outside and it was received much better than the last one. He probally wouldn't have made this one if it hadn't. Some things look far worse than they would if you had the full context, it's hard to judge.
