The way that the Japanese do merchandise lets artists sell fairly small albums of just a few songs, instead of one album of a ton of songs. Same with TV shows or anime. Some Western artists even do an album release in Japan. Taylor Swift's Fearless actually has as JP exclusive edition which is kinda neat. I also found some nice Evangelion wallpapers today, pretty happy. Wasn't able to convince my buddy's roommate into watching the show but I think I'll slowly win him over.

Also trying to decide if I want to get the latest Atelier game on either switch or pc. I usually always go with PC since I find cheatengine mandatory to speed the games up, but it's supposedly got a real time combat system that will probably make that less of a concern...

I've finally beaten both EoR and the normal campaign on insane. Early game shielding, regen, healing are the best infusions, with one physical wild or shatter afflictions rune. Late game you need 2x wilds or 2x shatter afflictions. It really goes : Tinkers>Dual Wild(Cures two types)/Shatter>Primal>Wild>Stormshield>Healing>Regen>Shielding because there's a talent that can shatter shields now. A lot of it depends on the class though (regen is a lot better on Wilder classes that have the fungus tree). The rest are basically meme-level if the player uses them (Heroism is now AWFUL). The offensive ones aren't BAD, they're just so much worse than the defensive ones. Ethereal seems to be to annoy the player on npcs.

I still feel like I'm learning the game so I play normal. I'm very used to playing DCSS where it's pretty simple to figure out if your able to beat an enemy or not but in tome there's way more information so I have a hard time determining my strength relative to a unique or randboss or w.e. in DCSS it's a lot easier to deal with uniques just because none of them are random so once you memorize them you know at a glance if you have what you need to beat them. I get how defense/armor/hardiness works but I usually die around lvl 15 to some random that deals huge amounts of one of the 999999 different kinds of elemental damage I also don't really know how to use talent points on most classes except for what iv learned from trial and error since so many guides are outdated ![]()

Heroism used to give 30-40 +stats and now doesn't. Movement is still OK, but it isn't a mandatory 2x slot anymore. Blink is very good. Movement is for if your class has no built-in gap close or escape and is melee, blink is better for survivability. The rune options aside from shatter are universally better than their infusion counterparts, but if you take any you can't enter zigur or betray escorts or go anti magic. If you're dying at level 15ish you probably aren't stacking +HP gear. That's basically the most valuable thing all game long, aside from 100% crit shrug.

I look for +hp lanterns but otherwise on equipment iv been pretty much using whatever has the best damage or defense/armor. Should I be stacking hp all early game?

Should I be stacking hp all early game? Yep. Especially on normal. Armor/Defense do nothing vs non-weapon based attacks, and spells/breaths are the worst thing on normal. The only real exception is that if you're a class that goes heavy armor then you still want to only use Mail/Plate even if it has lower +hp than other items, as you give up too much hardiness. Light armor is only for archmages/necromancers and classes with the mobility tree. Mid-late game on weapon damage starts to get VERY high, and armor starts to matter more (earlier in EoR, though only for the mid game. The endgame boss has summons with 500 APR there).
