They're confident and somewhat troll but they've become far more refined and mannered. Enjoying trolling people isn't really a sign of being BM. The first game of Hyhy I ever saw involved a pair of fake 5-man ggs into almost comeback in 2007, so yeah, those SG boys have come a long way. Not banning heros. Going all mid and feeding and then just leaving. Getting a standin with the name islaygays. Generally trashtalking other teams. Dropping out of several tournaments after having agreed to play them. I can see the appeal to the younger audience that think that kind of dumb behaviour is cool. What western team hasn't run games with multiple standins? the islaygays incident is something caused by the other team being unwilling to delay a game for an hour (in a tournament where western teams were routinely showing up hours late with multiple standins) and them having to find somebody on the spot, which they apologized for later Not banning heroes is a completely legit strategy when used with consideration of the relative hero pools that the teams are able to play. How is dropping out of tournaments BM, especially when much of it is in response to the standin incident, inoperable hours, and the fact that 400 ping dota (lol EU teams demanding USE) a sign of BM? Teams routinely drop out of tournaments for much sillier reasons like "unable to get up before 10am" I'm not saying that they're the face of professional DotA, but people from the EU/NA scene somehow singling Zenith out as a "BM" team are just pots calling the kettle black

Ohh, the irony these days.. now the lawyers valve hired for this replied regarding the visa, not even sure if i should laugh or what do now =D But no, its pretty certain that i'm not going to Seattle still. Honestly, my interest for dota right now is close to zero, played few games today and i felt nothing but leaving and not giving a fuck.. it sucks dick to give up on alot of things for something and then get denied the opportunity to even have a chance to show what you've been working at for a long time well it seems like ComeWithMe... very interesting read. A LoL player calculated MLG stats for how often a team cameback from a 10% gold disadvantage at 12m mark and he calculated that the 'snowball' effect in LoL was very, very high (as expected) 47-3-5 Those were the findings for MLG LoL Arena. Basically showing that comebacks rarely, if ever happen in LoL. So some guy did this for Dota as well using all of the games from the defense. Using the same criteria at least 10% gold lead by 12m, he found the disadvantaged team actually ended up winning 26% of the time. Highlighting that comebacks are much more prevelent and capable in Dota than LoL.
