Starladder and the Defense are highly rated because they don't have ping problems and the results are "legit" imo. yes, not to mention that dota2 in china is still a speck compared to dota

You only divide by region when USA wins
Country when EU would win if it was by region

This is the ingame BoX score. A little bit small but looks good. No bo7or higher but that's not very common in dota

would encourage more crazy stats
of course that means potential 7-10 hours of streaming for one bo7 lol
anyway neat add-on to that UI

You know those bo51 grudge matches? In dota it would actually take a week at least

I'll be passing on star series as entertainment since all but 3 teams will produce pretty bad games. and so until those 3 matchups happen, it's not really going to be quality.

coL didn't even manage to compete in pro series at high level and now suddenly they are a top team..

What does that even mean? Did they won a random match against navi or what?

It is not invite only it is a league
The last 2 places go to pro series and the top 2 from proseries advance to starseries, nobody gets invited. Moscow 5 managed to qualify for both lan finals, while col didn't came close to top 2 in pro series.
How would it make sense to kick the team that qualified for both lan events and invite a team that has issues in proseries?

That was exactly why I made my comment, because of the amount of people who wanted Europe to "win" over USA. :p
Think it is rather stupid to talk about what region/country got the most top teams, apart from some of the Chinese teams, DotA teams don't really seem to be that nationalistic.

Hey flash is not doing fine, lets replace him with a random guy who is winning a few matches.
M5 has qualified for both lan events why not invite them?
