I did that with alche and sb. I'im now 1/4 with alche and 0/5 with sb. Never gonna play them again
Useless discussion, icefrog already said that he won't add concede.
Did you skill greed early? If you skill greed early, you're gonna have a bad time.
Yeah i skill greed early, usually I dont max his green stuff before lvl 25
Greed scales terribly, at most, you'll want one level early, if you're confident with last hitting, and then level up the rest after everything else. His Acid Spray is probably his best non-ult skill. It allows you to farm very well in the mid game (something that Alchemist needs more than most heroes), keeps enemies away from you in the early game (I don't need to tell you how great this is) and even gives armour reduction for your allies! Rule of thumb is, if your lane is getting dominated, max Acid Spray up early, if not, max Unstable Concoction early for kills. The mana is high, but a RoB and your ult clears that up fine.

Even when I got freefarm I usually dont put more than two in greed, it just isnt that much extra gold until mid-lategame when you can purge the entire forest or entire waves.
Try playing him not like you would void (skill greed and farm 24/7) but instead running around headbutting stuff with your immortal ogre. It works like an absolute charm.
like rly why would you max his stun first, its the worst single target ability in the game imo, while acid spray is actualy a good spell
Don't get a rob on alch. It won't really help you spamming your spells. And as soon as you get a lvl of ulti you don't need much mana regen anyway. A soul ring would most probably be much better.
Anyone else get laggy menus in the game? Takesa few minutes to get past the connecting to the dota 2 network screen, Takes like 30 seconds to actually join the queue after i press the button...and i missed a queue and it got stuck with the "A Player Declined the Match" message and doesn't go away after restarting..
Happened a couple times over the last couple of days >.<

And if you get chainstuned for 5 seconds you self chain stun for 4 more

Would then much rather build tranq boots instead of rob.
I prefer phase boots. You still get speed out of them, and you're going to get all the healing you need from your ult, so the extra damage from phase is pretty helpful.

Btw you need to get chainstunned for 7 seconds.
throwing it right away is not very effective
alch is such a strange hero. He farms a lot, has a lot of potential, but it does not enought dmg I guess. I was playing against a really fat alch earlier today. He had phase vang and rad 24 minutes in. He was stomping my team left and right. we had a very disable heavy team, and when the teambatles started (25-30 minutes into the game) alch had no chance do to anything. He used to be such a strong hero in chinese dota 1. not anymore I guess.

wat, you should never stun yourself unless they got drow or some other annoying megasilence

He's just got some great properties that can't be exploited very well. His attack speed is among the best in the game, but him being a big target, he just gets burst to hell. And if he builds tanky, all he has is his acid and his terrible stun. He's not in a good place.

or if they juke heavily. People tend to want to wait until the 2 seconds pop up before they throw, and it's not hard to duck into the trees for a couple of seconds.
You should be somewhat able to predict if they are going to try to juke and fire it off early, its still like 2 seconds of stun instead of 3, should be plenty. Of course there is a risk involved. Of course, against some teams, getting it off in big teamfights can become a nightmare, but it is good enough in other situations, as well as for initiating, escaping etc to skill IMO.
