Useless discussion, icefrog already said that he won't add concede.

Concede is bad and useless. It doesn't fit in the game at all.
Guess we have different opinions on that one. I personally don't understand why it isn't in the game. Some games are totally waste of fucking time and i bet you have had games like that also.
Of course, but I also had games were my team was like 10 kills behind with a rax down and we still managed to win. If concede was in the game I'm sure that all those comebacks wouldn't have happened.
There you are right and i have had the same experiences. But still, but I've had so many games when it either ends up being a total skull-rape and thus you are just wasting half the time from the next game. Sure you can sit at the well or smoke to hide somewhere, but sadly, nowadays it seems people doesn't even trust or understand the "ff-finish" type of 'concede'. Maybe ranking/MMR has something to do with it, i don't know.
Okay, as i said i agree with you on what you said. But i think they should try to implement some kind of concede option, which doesn't kill the possibility of comebacks for example. I'm sure there is a way to do it right, maybe not HoN like, but something. Big difference in XP/gold/kill to able to concede etc.

Did you skill greed early? If you skill greed early, you're gonna have a bad time.
1) I want that framed poster on his wall 2) Most epic blackhole ever
A question for those who have played morphling for a while. Has the playstyle of morph been changing a lot recently? Item and build wise, it seems like morph is going through an evolution. I'm guessing it is partially due to the buffs it has been given. Perhaps I am just losing my mind, just seems like a metamorphosis has been taken place.
Don't really see the point of swapping in AP, other than promoting people to random which to me seems to be the opposite of what you would want to encourage people to do (ie. pick well).

this is the real reason concede is bad. in LoL, if you are an early game hero and you fucked up your early game, you might as well just not try for the rest of the game. I'm unfortunately guilty of this. I know it's going to be hard for most TLers to understand because it's such a lazy mentality, but I'm a really lazy guy.
When I played LoL i often thought, "well if we lose the next teamfight, maybe my team will surrender and we can go to the next game sooner." I hate to admit it, but sometimes I even played intentionally badly without being too obvious, missing skillshots or delaying my big AOE ultimate etc. In dota, even if you're playing witch doctor and the game goes for 70 minutes, you're not doing anything else until the game is over so you might as well just be the best damn witch doctor you can. It also helps that the non-carries need to get a bunch of items with active abilities and ward the map, so you never feel completely useless.
I have been trying to learn storm spirit and what a failure I've been. Early-mid game, I have so much mana problems its ridiculous. I use up my entire mana pool for a gank and end up having to walk back to base, especially if I don't have rune control and end up being quite underlevelled.
Also, sometimes I squeeze out everything to get a kill and don't have enough mana to run out.
Once I get my bloodstone its fine but because I spend so much time ganking, its very delayed. Is this normal or am I doing something very wrong?

Carry a lot of TP scrolls. It would probably also help to just buy the wards yourself. If you just ward one position and check every 2 minutes to see if its top or bottom, you can get 12 minutes of rune control for 200 gold. Your first kill will pay for it.

Get bottle + wand if you aren't already. Set yourself a timer every 2 minutes to make sure you're actually paying attention to every single rune. Base your ganks off the rune locations. Walk closer to ganks before actually balling in so you don't waste too much mana, make sure you're not balling around more than you need to. Beyond that it's just practice practice practice until you get a feel for how much you can do with x amount of mana.

I play alot of alchemist, and I strongly disagree, I usually level the stun to lvl 4 when I'm level seven, it is a complete monster. Then depending on the lane, I max out acid spray OR get ONE level of greed.
Even when I got freefarm I usually dont put more than two in greed, it just isnt that much extra gold until mid-lategame when you can purge the entire forest or entire waves.
Try playing him not like you would void (skill greed and farm 24/7) but instead running around headbutting stuff with your immortal ogre. It works like an absolute charm.
Alchemist stun is quite terrible normally you shouldn't really consider taking many levels in it. When alchemist was a popular carry people actually completely skipped his stun and often even took stats over it.
