And first time playing doto was using sniper cause' I liked shooting people with right clicks but then I couldn't run away with him and kept feeding so I began picking Antimage cause I like blinking away so no feed, feeding is bad. Though randoming Dark Terminator was a very fun thing | ||

No idea what my first hero was, but I played the game exactly as I would have any wc2/scbw/wc3 RPG map, and mostly just walked around with random items. I was playing with a friend who had like ~20 games more than me or something so he guided me a little bit but I obviously didn't exactly listen much in my first few games. After I got what the hell you're supposed to do in the game I just started playing exclusively all random, going boots, 2 bracers/nulls/wraith bands depending on the hero primary attribute and S&Y on every hero. After some weeks my process improved and I started having playdota guides open and just alt tab between the game and a guide for every hero I randomed. I also remember somehow having trouble finding the secret shop for a fucking long-ass time in that game, haha. I also did the random&guide thing in HoN beta once that was out, and I would actually recommend it (at least the guide part) to any new player regardless of the bad rap guides usually get among experienced players. Sure you don't learn to adapt, but how likely is it you're going to know how to adapt correctly when you aren't familiar with most heroes? | ||

then at 30min everyone has shiny items while you have boot (lvl 1), 5iron branch and no gold tbh I learned dota by watching tobi and link's streams for 6months, I was waiting my dota2 key. | ||
