Apollo seemed to rub off me the wrong way especially when he was so dismissive and condescending.

Wow Apollo.... what an asshole. How is it unreasonable for DH finals to have over 70k viewers, when The Defense finals had 50k!? And that was a couple moths ago.

I also hate how he generalised people into only watching one game, a lot of people actually watch multiple esports titles together and DreamHack had chained all the finals together made for an excellent variety experience. Its not like people can't enjoy LoL, DOTA and SC2 at the same time.

How high did the stream number go when SC2 was on? I only follow Dota 2, don't have time for more eports, so I shut the stream off when mTw won.

There was also BLC and Quave Live! Really great tournament for esports in general though I really wanted Cypher to win.

The stream numbers went to down to about 40k but I would really credit that to how late it was during monday for most europeans and the enormous delay than anything else.

Afaik it always have been around 40k.

Atleast that was the way appollo argued. Dota had 60k and then dropped to 40k with sc2 -> 20k where there for dota.

The guy insist he's "the" Chu, but is he The Chu ? I was such a fanboy, going everyday on his replay thread hoping he would release a new one.

edit : missed the long description at bottom, it seems it is =)

Dude needs to make up his mind. HoN > LoL > HoN > LoL > Dota 2? Also, every time he switches games, he says something along the lines of "yeah, the previous game I played was shit."

Actually its like Dota Hon LoL Hon LoL DFO Maplestory LoL Diablo 3 LoL Dota2.

He doesn't need to make up hsi mind because he doesn't give a shit, he just wants to do his thing, if he wants to game hop then so be it lol.

Can anybody remind me, since rubick got added to CM, how popular has he been in the chinese scene?

I don't know a lot about the Chinese scene for the last couple of months or so but I do know that Rubick is top ban in SEA teams.

I just noticed that stats are back in...

Funsies:
My Darkseer: 34 wins -> 8 losses (by far my best and most beloved hero).

"Rating for him:
Not even 2 fields full...

I figured as much just looking at his skills..
My friend insists that he'll be a non-factor that will rarely ever be picked.

My friend insists that he'll be a non-factor that will rarely ever be picked.

His real power comes from the lack of casting animation (eg fissure) making so many spells better than they actually are. He probably won't be a first pick as he can be counter picked really easily.

Edit: Fade Bolt also allows you to dominate your lane and Tele is just a real good stun. His passive makes anti-mage almost immune to magic damage as well.

yeah apollo was being a huge idiot during that conversation. it's like he couldn't believe dota had better numbers than SC2. I felt he was being a real douche during that entire discussion, and I really like apollo but that made me mergh him. I didn't really like incontroL nearly falling asleep and acting bored during the CEO interview, I thought it was good. I enjoyed the candidness between 2GD, Hellspawn and CEO. Crazy dynamic they got running DH!

More like he'll be a non-factor because no one will let him through the bans lol.

He's been a very frequent ban since he got added to -CM. I'd expect him to be a tad weaker in DotA 2 if it's true that he uses the original hero's animation time, and not his own.
