i played dota for like 7 years and i have like 3,5k i know i'm pretty bad, but looking him play is painful, he is awful thinking he is just 500mr behind me sees so wrong t.t | ||

Watch it in two weeks time when it isn't so fresh in your mind. Probably 1k mistakes made in it.  Its true for most people (myself included). | ||

When I go on losing streaks and lose like 400 MMR I tend to get several easy wins right after because of how much better I am than the other people. Plus when you're watching someone you tend to notice all the mistakes they make that you might not notice about yourself when you're playing so the difference might seem worse than it seems. | ||

It isn't that surprising either. He played Dota 1 a bit and at least remembers some of the mechanics of the game. As well he also plays a lot and as he plays more he gets better. Sure his games still look bad, but he has an idea of how to play a number of heroes and can play them reasonably well. My question is how high he can get. | ||

you don't have to be good at every game you play to enjoy playing or "be a gamer". besides, to truly get good at a game, you have to put a TON of hours into it. | ||
