8 creeps spawn per minute

a siege creep spaws at 3:00 and another spaws after every 7th spawn

83 creeps total or something

avg melee creep is 44goldx 60quantity= 2640
avg ranged creep is 48gold x 20quantity = 960
avg siege creep is 73gold x 3quantity = 219

passive gold gain = 1000
starting gold = 625

5444 avg networth in a perfect world.

I think a decent mid will have 50 cs at 10 minutes which is ~60% of 83



soooooo multiplying 50 avg cs by 60% of the total income received from perfect cs on creeps + starting gold and + passive gold gain we arrive at a respectable net worth of a mid @ 10 minutes of 3916.4

Great i can have over 3916.4 netwroth at 10 mins on any hero in mid vs no opposition ur point?

Also 10 mins is too long to be relevant laning stage is over at min 8 really, and every half-decent mid is farming more than just his lane at that stage.

The point is you can't really compare "completely uncontested unwarded unleeched optimized jungle for 10 minutes" to "questionable presumably contested cs in lane and literally nothing else for 10 minutes"

the difference is a jungler can do that every game whereas a mid cannot ever get every last hit without the game being already over.

jungling isnt necessarily safer then laning.
there are quite a few bountyhunters out there that will just dedicate themselves to making your life hell.
vulnerable to smoke ganks, a lucky rune for your opponents, etc. I dont think the numbers on uncontested farm are too valuable.

Ganking jungling lifestealers is always great. There's a few timings where they're at like 200 hp and if you're bounty hunter or a smoked support with a stun it's typically an easy kill.
From the Ghastly Eyrie I can see to the ends of the world, and from this vantage point I declare with utter certainty that this one is in the bag!

I think the jungle crowd are mostly stuck remembering those days.

No it's not, it weakens your lanes and sets you up for massive failure. It allows the offlane much more exp than he would normally get, and it gives the opposing supports (if they have 2) the opportunity to roam and camp your mid. Jungling almost never works out in pubs because pubs are won almost exclusively from the laning phase. If you have a good laning phase, you win your pubs a good portion of the time (I'd wager anywhere from 70-80%). This isn't like competitive play where people are smart enough to farm the jungle and dodge fights as a team; what will end up happening is that you're jungling and dodging fights, but your team gets caught, or tries to take bad fights 4v5, etc.


There needs to be serious changes to how denying/exp/neutrals work before jungling becomes viable again. Before, it used to be viable to just jungle because you'd outexp/outgold the opposing supports so badly that it would be worth it to sacrafice some laning power. Now with changes to smoke, exp, shared gold, etc. you can get way more gold as a support player, making a jungler that much less viable in pub play. You rarely see junglers even ganking junglers like Chen/Enchant/Enigma for this very reason now adays in competitive play. For whatever reason, people just haven't figured out that it's terrible for pubs.
