You mean the same Core Veno/NP that literally carried VG through the entire tournament? Such a shitty draft right? I think they were 5-1 with Veno and like something ridiculous like 10-3 with NP. ROTK is gonna stick to his guns rather than try something different; they've practiced certain drafts so they aren't really comfortable at pulling nonsensical shit off in the grand finals. Newbee just had more flexible players overall with Xiao8 and MU who have a plethora of heroes that they can play, and their supports are legit top 3 in the world. | ||

If you keep doing the same draft over and over, people figure it out after a while. Much like EG and drafting faceless void over and over. They just went all in on that strat until it stopped working. It just stopped working in the finals because Newbee had their number. | ||
