There aren't a whole lot of AoE silences in the game, and their users generally want to stay really, really far away from any enemy hero, much less Meepo. This makes them Meepo food as soon as he gets his Blink.
Death Prophet is solid, though that's mostly because of her Exorcism->Euls, which can focus down a Meepo pretty easily and dodge initiation.

When did they add a sound effect for Basher proccing?

This month - let it end. Sub-40% winrate in about 150 games. Today 0-6, saw Rod of atos sven and mjollnir axe in my team. Was playing with 2 friends for 4 games but still no chance to win... The depressing part is that I dont feel like playing worse than the years before but somehow this month is cursed.

The skull basher sound was with the 6.81b patch I think.

How does an inhouse league work exactly? Do you have to make your own team or do you get dropped in a different team each match?

It's just like soloQ except the pool of players is selected with some criteria.

Sometimes they play a player drafting mode, where each team has a captain that takes it in turns to choose who they want on their team. But there are no fixed teams as such.
