I thought there was more. I know he flat out loses to Brood and against Skywrath he is going to have a hard time. Phoenix also probably destroys him just on pushing power alone. Maybe Enchantress could as well. Hard to say on that one though IMO. | ||

He definitely loses to Meepo, Lone Druid, probably vs Brood and Visage. And I can see some other heroes he would struggle with. | ||

Like, Meepo has to poof to cs at least until level 3, even after that u can probably keep out-csing him, and ur nuke bypasses meepo's magic resist completely. Sure one meepo can cancel ur ult on the other so that part is questionable but I feel like you should get a biiiig advantage early. Visage can't possibly beat bane... can't cs, gets to 6 after bane, and just dies. | ||

I was exaggerating somewhat when I said 2 heroes. There are a lot of specific counterpicks to Bane (Enigma is one that I've seen in tournament 1v1), but you can't blindly pick most of those heroes in this format because they have bad matchups too. | ||

Brood is the same way. Spawn Spiderlings for CS, Build an army at 3. Don't stop pushing till you win. | ||

Haven't really tried the matchup, but I feel like LD could do okay, and if he hits 6 at the same time, he can't really die to bane. Trying to play the matchup in my head, maybe bane has a few tricks that could make it tricky for LD. | ||

There's a lot of stupid shit certain heroes can do in this format because bottle-crow and Soul Ring are allowed.
