I don't actually have anything against EE. I'm honest when I say I don't think he's a top-tier carry but he's done a lot of good things for his team and for Alliance and I respect the effort he puts into the game. I believe that C9 won't win TI4 with EE on the team but I respect the fact that he's the emotional core of the team and when I call for him to be kicked its at least partially in jest. He probably deserves better than some of the things I say about him but w/e I get to trash talk him when his fanboys go overboard for the same reasons they get to go overboard on the fanboyism.

aoe isnt particularly good against meepo, tb wrecks meepo until he has sheep
AoE stuns is what gets him unless Meepo is behind.
as in, earthshaker is super good vs meepo but qop is meh
If you think about it: 6.80 comp dota is all about previous versions pub dota. Heros building MoM+Blink or stacking bfurys or basher on ranged heroes, mass necrobooks, Dagon+E-blade not being too uncommon, "recovery midas" past ~15 mins (hail EE-kami), farming mids instead of ganking ones, invis heros / shadowblade, teams playing whatever the f hero they want and the list goes on. I remember back in the day, there was a saying "everythings viable in pubs." These days it seems like the same rule applies to comp dota. All that has been pretty much standard in the past years within pub dota. Seems like the pros finally catch up on how to properly play the game.

This is pretty much exactly what people said about both Xboct and Loda when he was in Zenith. Guess some player in every team just get so much shit until they reach a TI final so the 2k rating superstars maybe understand that they might have undervalue'd them.
Still blows my mind that Xboct got a 4/10 carry. How off can some peoples judgement be...?

i think loda is a dd rune god.I dont know how he does it but when it counts he summons these dd runes like nothing that alone makes him a good carry lol xboct on the other hand idk,I'm not a fan of xboct,never was

his form at that time was not the best and if i remember correctly it was not 4/10 for his carry ability in general. more like in comparison to the other players in the tournament (burning, sylar, hao, mushi, pajkatt and zhou) with only one carry getting 10/10, 9/10 etc

Loda isn't a great carry player, but he is a versatile one. What I mean is, he rarely has games where he plays an absolutely astounding carry, but he can play whatever Alliance want him to. Xboct ranges from 10/10 carry who maintains the highest lasthit count in the game while going 10-0 in constant fights and getting a ridiculous GPM count overall to an Olympic discus thrower.
Plus, both of them have gotten kind of better over time. They're both now in teams that really suit them.
