The basic idea would be to keep your opponents guessing as to your team's plan. When they don't know what someone's done with 2k gold it's an advantage, albeit maybe marginal and not worth the effort/loss of 30as. Edit: And yeah, obviously this would have to be with a pro team or at least a 5-stack or something where you can guaranteed know what the courier is going to be doing. I mean the psychology behind someone thinking you're rushing a BKB with no Ogre Club is a discussion that exceeds the scope that mere TL mortals can provide to you. When they win TI4 I'll assume 0.2% responsibility. + Show Spoiler + Not even slightly sarcastic. Honest.

when the 2nd whiniest person in the scene tells u to stop whining :D:D:D:D even tho i agree, casters need to stop critizicing players for choices they make since they have no clue how to play dota, like when someone goes an item rather than saying "LOLOLO ID RATHER GO BKB LMAONOOB420BLAZEIT" they should just try to find WHY the player went for a certain item rather than assuming u know better since u dont and ur awful

I used to skill him 1311, but now i think 1221 into 1241 is maybe better for earlier push/counterpushpower (the lvl2 give the wards +/-125% more hp, worth it). Skilling him like this counters his nerf a bit as damage comes from the wards and less from venomancer. Axe and glasscannons (which i see alot nowadays) dont like poisondamage/poisonslows at all, they melt. I bet and hope that venomancer is gonna been seen alot at ti4 and probably be decisive in the ti4 finals, because i dont feel there was any good reason why he fell off from a first pick to a nobody, it doesnt make sence.

And the wardvision doesnt help against smokeganks so lowering the ward vision was annoying but not that relevant i think. How can you decide how to skill veno before the game started? His Q and E are both 1 point wonders which also scales well, then it's up if you want to harass, take or defend T1 early or if you need that extra burst of gale to gank.

I don't think people understand the impact casters have on the foundation of esports / "new" viewers to the game who know nothing about the game and take what casters say as gospel. It's why we see so many people stuck on crappy pub builds, because they listen to Aysee or Tobi saying "This is the only way you can build this hero" and then they play a pub game where the SITUATION calls for a different build (say BKB vs a stun-heavy lineup) and they go with the caster's "pro build" - it's unfortunate, and more casters need to be less opinionated and more unbiased. Casters have the opportunity to alter player reputations too, remember how many people bagged on AdmiralBulldog as a 3-hero wonder (or even one hero wonder) until they won TI3? they are not nearly as bad as early days SC2 casters were.. I mean, people looked up to Artosis so much on GSL, and he was best friends with IdrA (both zerg), so everytime a protoss won a game, we heard some extremely biased casting from Artosis. It's how the whole "protoss deathball attack move" crap started, and since everyone thinks Artosis knew what he was talking about, they started to echo his comments for years. I still think Protoss gets a bad reputation for that sole reason (Artosis and IdrA's zerg nerd rage) - No protoss was respected for their skill in the same way other races were until Rain came along. Anyone remember their "Imbalanced" show?? Thankfully he eventually wised up and became less biased eventually.
