It makes sense in a strange way though, s4 (and it seemed like A in general) almost always drafted around bulldog's hero. I assume bulldog knows at least what the skills of every hero are (ok maybe he won't know weird things like the specific details on bloodseeker's purge), even if he hasn't ever played as those heroes.

Well he obviously knows what skills heroes have, he hasn't been playing Dota for only 2 months.
But you have Loda, who's been a captain of Dota teams since before there was a scene. You have s4 who was the one who took over after EE and made Alliance what it was in 2013. You have Akke who's always been seen as one of the smartest people in Dota, even though he doesn't usually draft. EGM I dno, but he certainly seems like more the type of person who would draft than Bulldog.
I'm not saying he can't draft, I'm just saying I wouldn't be surprised if anyone else was doing it.

Well Loda said that S4 specifically wanted Bulldog to draft after Loda told S4 to draft a while back.
So there must be some reason for why it is Bulldog.

I don't think there's any rhyme or reason behind it. I mean, there are some patterns. He picks up Senjougahara pretty often.

The only one i can think of is the mixed team at ti3 when dendi hooked puppey.
