Man, they are reporting on a thread on NA dota and unconfirmed sources. It is a fucking slow news week when you can't even wait for the confirmation to go beyond "Yo, they are talking about it in this thread, let me ask my guy in Korea what's sup."

The source is the guy that was kicked. So besides an elaborate prank there is little reason to doubt it.

I am more pointing out that fact that the article specificlly cites an NAdota thread as a source. Its not as bad as saying they got some of their information from yahoo.answers, but its close.

It's no diferent than quoting what someone says on Twitter or anywhere else. They got the news that the team disbanded, and said that according to his posts in NAdota, it seems like there were internal issues in the team. I really don't think it's so weird. Rumors without an actual confirmed source from someone directly involved are news all the time.

This was also reported as news even though the source was merely a post on an online forum, for example, but noone would blame TL for reporting on it with "just" confirmation by the player involved, because how crazy would that be...

Ah, they didn't cite the part that he said it on NAdota. I took it as speculation in a thread on NA dota, not that he was posting in the thread itself. Its all clear now.
