Nobody's sure how that will be handled, at least for TI.

I know that they have purposefully signed up for some tournaments as "NA" and for others as "EU" so as to be able to compete against both scenes for practice purposes (and probably also to set precedents so that they can choose the more favourable option in the future).

Often they are listed as NA simply because there aren't that many decent NA teams so adding C9 to the list helps tournaments make a full "NA" division.

Probably Demon trolling, but one would think that Dignitas is too big an organization to not have a Dota 2 team, and Dog is clearly the most attractive available squad. That's especially true if they (and C9) can wangle their way into consideration as an NA team. The only other option for an organization looking to pick up a team likely to have any success is the 1437/brax project, which is still just a rumor. Or some weird Euro mix centering around Black^, which won't happen and won't work even if it does.

Rule of thumb is if a big team has a stupid name, it's in the works of being sponsored.

Its actually a competition between NTH and PotM Bottom in terms of whose quality of name went down the most upon sponsorship. PotM bottom had the better name orignally but at least they ended up with something more respectable than "Alliance" lol.

there is no brax/1437 project, brax is done with comp dota for now and plays/streams a bit of league now and then. 1437 was playing with him on sunday actually. 1437 said he was playing some Toronto LAN with a pickup team in the next few weeks but "is going to start playing dota two days before" so I highly doubt he is working on a team either.

LGDint kinda sucked the will to compete out of some folks it looks like :S

I've always disliked Dignitas. I think it's the only team/brand which I do.

Mainly just because of Odee though.
