That's funny, I just got the same mount.

So is the year beast thing done for good this time, or is it going to keep coming back until a particular date?

considering flamesalt ingots are still dropping it's probably coming back

I think it's going to come at least once more, because there's still one round of offerings coming and the offerings give parcels to everybody, so they'll probably finish them off before the year beast is over. Of course they could make it so the offering doesn't give parcels, too.

qojqva has 6.7k solo mmr Q_Q, what a player.

I might as well try some Beast games since i got so many parcels from the offering. Whats the least you can spend and still win?
|
I said screw it this time and spent like 5$ on the cheapest commons/uncommons on the market to flood the offering to hopefully get something other than Flamesalt this time. If I get more Flamesalt I'm just going to jump off a bridge.

why not just spend 5$ on a series of rares and uncommons that you like?

Because I'm hoping to get a few decent rares maybe a courier, worst case scenario I'll just buy the things I really want, just figured I'd gamble since I didn't have any items to offer other than chests.

Ended up getting a Genuine Dreadsteed of Avernus (Rare abbadon mount) and some rare windrunner hair for my offering :D

As an insomniac who was lucky enough to be awake during the visage exploit period (I hit 30m which was enough for the jade)... are there any tournament tickets worth buying recently? (I don't usually spend money on tournaments at all because of being poor, but it's not like I can take the money out of my valve wallet and put it in my real wallet)
edit - Also, this intrigues me (because of hontrashplayer), maybe SEA will have a stronger team?- http://www.gosugamers.net/dota2/news/26787-orange-s-hon-team-moves-to-dota-2-under-new-sponsor

There's TKO by MLG/Joindota, and dotacinema is starting their first tournament. Either is worth supporting imo

QW-Invoker is actually ridiculous right now.

Did they distribute redhoof and jadehoof couriers for the second round yet?

Make sure to get a ticket for that. Currently the joinDOTA league is also going on plus the MLG TKO tournament. Season 2 of D2CL starts soon and the ticket is also available for that.

Hey guys, Ive never watched/played LoL or Dota and am thinking of starting to play. My question is why is Dota2 considered to be more skillful than LoL? I seem to get that, that IS the consensus of this community so I'm just wondering why it is, thanks.

It's hard to explain something like that to a person who never watched/played any of the games. You have to try it first, at least watch it. If I say something like "mistakes are more punishable" what can you possibly make out of it without any idea of what the games are?
