you should try invoker on 300 ping, it's like the sunstrike delay is 2.5s instead of 1.7

Back in the day I played a lot of Invoker on 250 ping or so. Most annoying thing was having to wait for the game to acknowledge that you had invoked a new spell each time before being able to use it.

A lot of Na'Vi players are streaming frequently nowadays. I never understood why they didn't stream more before. All of them have 10k+ viewers every time they stream easily. Dendi is obviously way higher. That's some serious ad money, isn't it? Maybe they had a contract that the money from streaming goes to Na'Vi and not the players and it got changed in 2014?
|
Yeah I saw Dendi having 27K viewers yesterday while the top SC2 streamer didn't reach 4K.
|
Even Hvost had like 20k+ and he put in some pretty long hours from what I saw.

Meracle couldn't play in one of the tournaments, because of some strange reason. I think he's still part of Titam, tho.

does anyone know how many of his naga games are with a stack and how much he plays solo q?
|
meracle said on his stream the other day that he's still in Titan

He wasn't playing with titan because titan is malysian and he is singaporean afaik. This is why yamateh was also playing for titan.

I find the ping discussion rather funny since I've always played on 200-250 ping.

I have gotten used to USEast at ~120-150 ping but anything above that and I even start to get annoyed.

Talking about meracle. Watching ee and arteezy playing naga, i'm guessing naga might soon get popular as a 4p1 carry. Players don't lack skills to play naga at meracle's level, but they lacked imagination. Now they don't.

Carry Naga is not exactly something new, it's just fallen out of favor. And really you need to think about just how much Titan sacrifice in a 4p1 with carry Naga, radiance doesn't exactly have a good build up, and building drums/diffusal/yasha limits the presence Naga can have around the map and in team fights.
