I sometimes type "OOM" when i am out of mana cause its such a habit when shit is hitting the fan. I dont know how many people even know what it means.
I say "Creeps" which is a wc3 term and sometimes i wonder if people know what i mean. Are the mobs (hehe WOW term) called creeps in dota 2?

I still call them creeps, and I was using oom back in wc3 days as well

I dont play mmo's but mmo terminology like tanking, oom etc. is something that's understood on an universal level.

I actually say OOM a lot that I bound it on the chat wheel eventually.
Just out of curiousity, how often do you people use the chat wheel and what do you have bound to it?
Here's what I have: - Re-use courier - Upgrade courier - Out of Mana - Missing - Enemy has rune - Current Game Time - Need wards - Well Played
I still find myself more used to typing "b" rather than using the care option on the wheel so I removed it altogether.

where is your relax youre doing fine ur missing the most important one that u spam after someone on ur team gives up fb

Time to replace "well played" which I never use then.

also i mostly use game is hard and i immediately regret my decision

Hello, this might sound dumb, but hey, it's the fucking internet. Why are people complaining about Earth Spirit? I've seen top tier players report opponents on the basis of picking ES alone, but he is nowhere to be found (as far as i've seen) in competitive play. If he is so damn stronk, why isnt he even picked when it actually matters?

Refer to this thread in the future when asking simple questions and no one is going to call you a dumbass, even if it was a bit uncalled for here as well.

Apart from "hey, this is fucking internet" on his part, that comment that was totally uncalled for. Cm omissions may not be common knowledge to dota casuals, and this is gd after all so he isn't too out of place. But do people actually report others for simply picking a hero? That's pretty messed up (NPs don't count;) ) And creeps plus oom are common dota terms afaik. Cs is creep score for example. But I've never heard ppl say talents or pets, or I'm going PvP... that's just weird=P

anyone else thinking that it is silly that you can pick your hero after the game has already started? in every game i have half the guys picking after the 90 seconds time just to counterpick something. valve should just force everyone to random after the time is up, seems like a stupid mechanic as it is now to me.
|
Especially since counterpicks barely do shit in dota in most cases, they just lose so much if they miss a single creep it;s not worth it
